Step 1: Find a specific day where you can identify inconsistent data
- Which stat is inconsistent?
- Hygiene
- New Patients
- Production
- Collection
- Adjustments
Step 2: Export transaction detail from PMS
Depending on your PMS, there may be different naming conventions for running this report. Your export should capture the same date range and output a full report. Here are some example instructions for some popular PMS types.

Step 3: Export corresponding transaction detail from TeamCare
Navigate to Dashboard > Financial heading, and use the corresponding tools to
- Treatment Search - tool to search for any & all procedures. Use this tool if your discrepancy is related to
- Hygiene
- Production
- Ledger Search - tool to search for any & all payment activities. Use this tool if your discrepancy is related to
- Collection
- Adjustments
Step 4: Start the investigation
- Take a look and see anything in the TeamCare report immediately "jumps out" at you as being wrong against the PMS data. Afterall, you will know your patients and transactions the best.
